About

Twenty years of one problem

Concise Networking Technology exists because network access control is still done badly almost everywhere — bought, half-deployed, and left in monitor mode.

Concise Networking Technology is a network security firm based in Los Angeles, CA. We design and deploy the systems that decide which devices and people are allowed onto a network — and, crucially, that actually enforce the decision.

That focus is narrower than most firms advertise, and deliberately so. Identity-driven access control is genuinely hard to get right: it touches switching, certificates, endpoint posture, directory services, and the patience of everyone whose laptop stops working when it is done carelessly. Doing it well is a specialist discipline, not a product you install.

Our founder has been doing this specific work since the late 1990s — through Cisco, a global bank's authentication and risk program, national retail infrastructure, and most recently federal and defense environments.
